Appeal for Public Assistance in Death investigation, Raby Bay
Police preparing a report for the Coroner following the death of a woman at Raby Bay on Saturday are appealing for public assistance.
Initial inquiries indicate sometime after 4am the 64-year-old Thornlands woman was with a man known to her at Raby Bay marina when they both fell into the water from a jetty.
The man was able to swim to shore with the woman however she died at the scene.
As part of compiling their report for the Coroner police are appealing for anyone who may have spoken to the man as he sought assistance or who may have seen the man or woman in the Raby Bay marina area between 4 and 6.30am yesterday morning.
Police would also like to hear from any residents or business holders that may have CCTV of the Raby Bay marina which was operating at that time.
