Serious assault, Wynnum
A man is currently assisting police after an incident in which a second man was wounded at Wynnum this afternoon.
Initial information is that the two men, known to each other, became involved in an altercation in a school carpark off Boxgrove Avenue around 2.45pm.
One man has sustained stab wounds to his chest and wrist and has been transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
A second man is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
Neither of the men are believed to be employees of the school.

A man has been charged following an incident on Boxgrove Avenue in Wynnum yesterday afternoon.
Police were called to an altercation in a school carpark at around 2.45pm and upon arrival located a 45-year-old man suffering alleged stab wounds to his chest and wrist.
He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
A 36-year-old Wynnum man has been charged with two counts of wilful damage and one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, assault occasioning bodily harm, possession of a knife, and wounding.
He is due to appear in the Wynnum Magistrates Court today, August 27.
