Armed robbery, Manly West
South Brisbane detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a service station at Manly West early this morning.
Initial investigations indicate that around 2am, two men entered a service station on Manly Road.
With their faces covered and armed with what is believed to have been a shard of glass, they threatened the male attendant, demanding cigarettes.
When attendant complied and they fled the scene on foot; last seen running inbound on Manly Road.
Police are urging anyone with any information which could assist police, or who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area, to contact Crime Stoppers.
