Suspicious House fire in Capalaba, 16th May 2018
Police are investigating a house fire that occurred overnight at Capalaba.
Emergency services were called around 11.20pm 16th May 2018, following reports a house was on fire on Mount Cotton Road.
On arrival, the house was found engulfed in flames but emergency crews were able to extinguish the blaze.
The house, which was unoccupied, was extensively damaged as a result of the fire.
Specialist officers will attend the scene later today to determine the cause of the blaze.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are continuing, but it is believed to be suspicious at this stage.
