The first annual Redland Museum Heritage Festival is being held at the Redland Museum and the adjacent showgrounds.
It will be a day of family fun and entertainment, celebrating the recent heritage of the people of the Redlands.
Some of the entertainment is being provided by the Queensland Detachment of the Royal Australian Navy Band.
