Armed robbery, Capalaba

Police have charged a 21-year-old Cleveland man with armed robbery following investigations into the robbery of a Capalaba service station yesterday afternoon.
It will be alleged around 5.30pm a man entered an Old Cleveland Road business armed with a knife, demanding money from a female attendant and threatening a male customer.
Police attended the scene and were allegedly threatened by the man brandishing the knife before officers took him into custody.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Wynnum Magistrates Court today where he also faces charges of enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, stealing, serious assault and two counts of serious assault police.
No one was physically injured during the incident.
