Armed Robbery, Wynnum 10th July 2017
Detectives have released CCTV vision and images of a vehicle involved in the armed robbery of a licensed premises at Wynnum earlier this month.
On Monday, July 10 at 8.35am, a silver hatchback entered the rear carpark of a Berrima Street business.
Three men, one armed with a knife and another with a firearm, left the vehicle and entered the premises where they threatened staff before demanding money.
The trio were leaving with a sum of cash when they were confronted by two customers and a brief struggle occurred.
As a result, the men left behind a firearm and fled the scene empty-handed.
All three men are described as Caucasian, aged in their early 20s, with a slim build and short blonde hair.
Two people were injured during the incident.
Anyone with information in relation to the incident or the vehicle (pictured here), believed to be a silver Nissan Tiida with a missing driver’s side rear hub cap, is asked to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
