Armed robbery, Wynnum Central
Detectives investigating the armed robbery of a café in Wynnum Central this morning (9th October 2016) have release an image of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
At around 6am a man entered the business on Tingal Road armed with a machete and demanded money from staff.
The staff members refused the man who then stole the cash register and fled the business on foot.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 183cm tall and of a slim build. He was last seen wearing dark clothes with red goggles and white shoes.

Detectives have charged two men following the investigation of an alleged armed robbery of a café in Wynnum Central yesterday, Oct 9, 2016.
It will be alleged 6am a man entered the business on Tingal Road armed with a machete and demanded money from staff.
The staff member refused the man who then stole the cash register. He then fled the area in a car driven by a second man.
A 20-year-old Coomera man and a 27-year-old Wynnum man have both been charged with one count each of armed robbery and enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence.
They are both expected to appear at the Wynnum Magistrates Court this morning, October 10, 2016.
