Attempted armed robbery, Alexandra Hills

Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred yesterday in Alexandra Hills.

Around 9.30pm, two men entered a service station on Cambridge Drive and one of the men produced a tomahawk.

He made demands for tobacco, but the attendant has refused the demands and the two men have then fled the scene.

No property was taken and no one was physically injured as a result of the attempted robbery.

Both men are described as Caucasian and aged in their late teens to early twenties. One man was 170cm tall, the other 175cm tall.

Investigations are continuing.
