Burglary and armed robbery with violence, Cornubia. 25th March 2014
Logan detectives are investigating after three men were involved in a burglary and armed robbery yesterday morning in Cornubia.
At around 10.30am, three men entered the driveway of a residence on California Creek Road where they were met by a woman. After introducing themselves as fire ant inspectors, they were challenged by the woman who demanded she see identification.
Subsequently, they forced entry into the house and assaulted both the woman and a man who was inside at the time. One of the men made demands for money while threatening them armed with a knife.
After going through the house and the outdoor shed, they left with a sum of cash and other property from the home. They were last seen driving a metallic bronze sedan.
One man is thought to be of Pacific Islander appearance, in his mid to late 30s and around 188cm tall with a solid build.
The second man is of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 50s and around 163cm tall, with blue eyes and facial stubble.
The third man is believed to be of Pacific Islander appearance, aged in his 20s, with a solid build and black hair. All three men were last seen wearing black and orange work shirts and cream-coloured broad brimmed hats.
