Burglary with violence, Wynnum. 22nd October 2014
Police have released CCTV footage in relation to an incident that began at a residence on Cusack Parade, Wynnum.
Around 3.30pm yesterday a man unlawfully entered the home and was disturbed by the 76-year-old female resident.
The man grabbed the woman’s handbag and when the woman refused to let go, a struggle ensued. The offender pushed the woman to the floor and fled the house with the handbag.
The handbag contained a number of winning TAB tickets which were later cashed at a hotel on Wynnum Road.
Police have released CCTV footage of a woman attending the hotel and allegedly cashing the tickets.

Police have charged a 29-year-old woman in relation to a burglary at a home in Wynnum last month.
On October 22 a man allegedly broke into the house on Cusack Parade before being disturbed by a 76-year-old female resident.
It will be alleged the man grabbed the woman’s handbag and when the woman refused to let go, a struggle ensued. The man allegedly pushed the woman to the floor and fled the house with the handbag.
The handbag contained a number of winning TAB tickets which a woman allegedly cashed in at a hotel on Wynnum Road.
A 29-year-old woman has been charged with one count each of entering a premises with intent to commit an indictable offence, fraud, robbery with personal violence, and entering a dwelling with intent.
