Charges: Dangerous conduct with a weapon, Redland Bay
Two men have been charged over two separate incidents where a firearm was produced at an address in Redland Bay.
It will be alleged that about 5.20pm yesterday, two men in a vehicle drove down a driveway on Orchard Road when they were approached by another man.
A verbal altercation began between the parties, before one of the men allegedly produced a firearm and threatened the man. The two men then left the address in the vehicle.
Uniformed officers, officers from the Criminal Investigation Branch and PolAir all assisted in locating the vehicle a short while later and apprehending the two men.
Nobody was physically injured during the course of this incident and the weapon was found to be a plastic replica.
Furthermore, it will be alleged that on January 28 the same two men were involved a similar incident, at the same address. The pair allegedly threatened a woman, while producing a firearm.
A 22-year-old Loganholme man has been charged with two counts of dangerous conduct with a weapon and one count of receiving tainted property and will appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court today.
A 25-year-old Shailer Park man has been charged with two counts of dangerous conduct with a weapon and is scheduled to appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court on February 24
