The Netherlands Retirement Village Association of Qld Inc (NRVAQI) owns and operates the Prins Willem Alexander Village which is located on Collingwood Road, Birkdale.
The Association was established in the early 1990’s and is administered by Dutch immigrants to cater specifically for the needs of local migrants born in The Netherlands.
The population of people born in the Netherlands, and living in the Redland area, increased from 623 in 2001 to 707 in 2006, out of the 119,300 total population.
In 2006 they were the 4th largest group of overseas born in the Redland area.
