Redland Council Tip Opening Hours

There are eight Council Tips (Refuse Transfer Stations) in the Redlands.

They all provide a free drop off service for local residents (proof of residency may be required). Commercial fees apply for commercial refuse.

Redland Bay Transfer Station

• Open 7 days a week – closed Christmas Day and Good Friday
• 1 September to 31 May: 7am-5.30pm (must arrive before 5.15pm)
• 1 June to 31 August: 7am-5pm (must arrive before 4.45pm)
• Vehicles must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to closing to allow for end of day procedures to be undertaken.

Recycle World Opening Hours: Tuesday and Friday: 10:00am – 2:00pm (Updated Oct 2022)

Birkdale Transfer Station
