Appeal for witnesses: Serious traffic crash, Thornlands
Police are appealing for witnesses as they investigate a serious traffic crash at Thornlands early on 3rd October 2016
Initial investigations indicate at around 12.40am a station wagon travelling east bound along Boundary Road has collided with a street light in the middle of a dividing strip near the intersection with Abeya Street.
The vehicle travelled approximately 100 meters before coming to a stop.
The driver and single occupant of the vehicle, a 32-year-old man from Redland Bay was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital and is in a serious condition.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
