Unarmed robbery, Capalaba. 9th October 2016
Police are appealing for public assistance to help identify a man who may be able to assist with inquiries into a robbery in Capalaba yesterday.
Initial investigations suggest that at around 5.10pm, a man was in a betting shop on Finucane Road when he approached a staff member and threatened the woman and demanded cash.
The woman complied and the man then fled the scene on foot.
No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.
The man (pictured) was last seen wearing a dark polo shirt, shorts and a brown cowboy hat with a leather band around the rim.
Investigators are asking for any witnesses and in particular for anyone who may have been travelling through the intersection of Old Cleveland Road and Moreton Bay Road, Capalaba between 4.30pm and 5.30pm with dashcam footage.
Investigations are continuing.
