The Redland City Water Charges E-Petition 1624-11, that was signed by 568 local residents on the Queensland Parliament web site, between February and May 2011, has been responded to.
The petition question was:
TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the increasing cost of water for residents of Redland city.
Your petitioners therefore request the House to reduce water rates to a fair and reasonable level by way of overseeing council and water utilities fees and charges.
